Eating right has become much easier for the students in the Independence School District, located in Independence, Missouri.

In Fall of 2010, first- and second-graders in the Sioux City Community Schools started receiving classroom instruction on a variety of nutrition topics, including the NuVal Nutritional Scoring System, thanks to an innovative curriculum developed by Hy-Vee.
